Cos Im at the end of my tether with him!!

He ran away AGAIN this morning. Anyone would think he wasnt happy here!!

I saw him disappearing under the gate post so I tried to chase him but clearly being 25 weeks pregnant I was at a slight disadvantage to a 5lb Westie with 4 legs!! Completely lost him and felt like a right berk running up and down the road shouting "ANGUS" at the top of my voice for 1/2 an hour. Succeeded in stepping in a load of mud in one of the fields which did not make me happy, and then the cheeky blighter comes trotting up the road towards me as if to say "Oh hello Mummy, fancy seeing you here!".

Needless to say I was not best pleased with him so he is now in his basket in the kitchen sulking. I tell you, motherhood should be a doddle after this!!! :rotfl:

Oh dear glad he came back in the end! Is he an entire dog? Perhaps theres a bitch in heat nearby and thats why he keeps running off does he run off alot or is it just recently?

He is a Westie and has been snipped so its not lady doggies enticing him away. Hes just a bit of an adventurous spirit I guess!

Here is a pic of him and his sister Betty Boo. Angus is the one at the front.
Any takers??!

Yes he has been "getting round to it" for ages!! Men! :x

I wouldnt mind but they are actually his dogs!! He had them before he met me and I inherited them and somehow seem to have been lumbered with em! Typical!

I tell you what you ship him to me in a box and I will ship my annoying cats to you... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: My cats run off when they steal something they aren't supposed to get, eat it, then spend the next three days puking up over all our carpets. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Mmmmmm lovely! I will pass if thats ok with you??! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ahhh I'll have him. ( have a dog Rocky who's favourite game is chasing pretend deer on the chase. I lost him for nearly an hour once, and he suddenly appeared out of the undergrowth panting and I'm sure he was smiling at me as if to say, hi, still here then.......... :wall: :wall: :x

But I do adore him and it's a mutual thing. He's about the size of a lab and spends most evenings sat on my lap. I don't worry about my son being jealous when the new baby arrives but I do worry about Rocky. He won't even let Martin sit next to me, he squeezes in the middle and gazes at me adoringly. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well I hope they are right cos im not sure I could cope if the LO is more badly behaved than the dog!! He just threw up all over the floor as well!! I think he is definitely gettiing me into training for when LO is here!! Although I guess that will be all over my shoulder as opposed to the floor... :rotfl:

No thanks trying to get rid of the one I've got  Causing massaive rows TBH

I grew up with Westies (bitches, never dogs). I love them. We lost our last one about 4 years ago. My mum has just got another dog, but this time she's gone for a Keishond and he's a handful...cute, but a handful. This was him the day he was picked up -

Oh and I would have your Westie if we didn't have my OH's cat

ive spent over £150 on our garden now trying to keep our dog in , but she can climb 10ft easy and dispears in a blink of an eye , weve got a stream that runs down near the garden , she comes back wet and smelly !

I don't do dogs! :shakehead:

My cat is bad enough, everythings covered in ginger cat hair, even me :wall: :wall:
He also wakes James up early at the weekends (by jumping on his bed making loads of noise) :x
