:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm gna send that to my dad...

erm... how about Broughty Ferry.... as places not pronounced correctly... and clootie dumplin, clootie fairies, "what do you want for bait for school today?" and a Kist for all our blankets... well my real name is Morag... guess where my parents are from? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (although my mums technically a gordie as she was born there, but my grandparents were scottish too... :rotfl:)

Some of these things you are adding I have never heard before, but I think the central belt has a completely different language than we have in the north east.

If I'm talking to my family I am a typical Farming Doric Teuchter (try and pronounce that non-scots!). If I speak to anyone else I can be kinda accent-less as I am used to speaking properly to Brian's family (americans) and also business clients in England when I was still working.

haha 'mon the Scots!

Love our accent! It's really funny to actually read the words though isn't it!

xx
