Ladies......

Just a curious question...........

Sitting down on the sofa and as I type I can see my bump rise and fall ever so slightly like baby is breathing?! I can feel it is his back where the movement is coming from so am guessing he is practicing a breathing motion and his rib cage is expanding and receeding (as can't be breathing at the moment coz he's in the amniotic fluid right?)

What do u think?

i have noticed my lo rolling around more than kicking about, my stomach rises one side and goes flat the other and then he rolls the other way. i also can feel his feet run across the top of my bump it feels like a ping pong ball under my skin its very funny. freaks oh out lol.

it maybe lo is getting comfortable and ready to come out, ive noticed my lo is a lot lower and i have proper movement in my pubic area.

No M2A I haven't noticed it all the time, just more when LO's back is really sticking out!

I had a quick google in the end and it says the baby will practice breathing motion and inhale/exhale the amniotic fluid whilst in the womb.........so I think it's prob that!

V cute that my little man is practicing his breathing in there xxxx

Maybe but he tends to get hiccups a couple of times a day andI don't think it is coz I know when he does get hiccups its lower down and more sporadic! This is a slow rise and fall that's very rhythmical..........like breathing. It's def not him rolling or kicking, much gentler than that!................Oh well, whatever it is he seems ok and quite content in there and that's the main thing xxx
