Hi
I havent been on for ages due to a number of things but have been checking reguarly to see how you are all doing.
To update.. I am 43 yrs old and 16 weeks pregnant. I never thought I would make it this far after losing a twin with my 4 yr old Lilli, then having m/mc's and an ectopic. Things are going well now although I know its still early days. Having second bloods done tomorrow so hopefully will know soon about the risk factor for Downs. After much thought and consideration hubby and I will keep the baby if it has Downs. I used to work with adults with Downs so know a bit about the condition.
Anyway the reason for posting is I have booked a gender scan at Babybond for next Saturday, only to find out the baby's sex as I have to be organised. I have nothing for either a boy or a girl and know I will get stressed even more. I would have waited til my 20 week scan but have found out it wont be until the beginning of May!!!
Have any of you ever used Babybond just for the gender sexing scan and please could you give me your experiences of this. Were they correct? Did they offer you a free rescan if they couldnt see anything conclusive at the time?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Love Scarlett
