I went for an antenatal massage today and it was so amazing. I would highly recommend it as i have never felt so relaxed and calmed in my life.
I work in a nursery and one of the parents of a child i look after has started her own business doing holistic treatments and is training to do antenatal and post-natal treatments too. She found out i was pregnant and asked if i'd mind letting her practise on me.
Of course i said yes immediately and was so glad i did. She spent an hour and a half massaging every inch of my body with a lovely mixture of oils. She also gave me a scalp massage and massaged my bump (very gently!!!).
She gave me what oils were left from what she'd mixed and told me to use them for me and oh to rub into bump to help prevent stretch marks. Not bad to say it was free and should have cost £45
When she had done she asked me if i'd mind going back every 4 weeks for the same treament. Had to think about it..........but said YES!!!
If anywhere local to you offers the treatment go for it. It's well worth it.
