antenatal appointment today = OUCH!

had my antental today and m/w done a sweep.. well tired to! she said what she managed to do probably wont work, becuase the babys head is so so so low that it is pushing my cervix up at an angle, and she couldnt get to it to "do her thing" lol
now my insides really ache and i am walking like john wayne!!!!!!!

It's uncomfy ain't it! I felt like a right wimp when I squirmed, she must have been wondering how I'm gonna handle labour if I protest at a couple of fingers But they do have a good root around and like you, she couldn't reach my cervix so it won't have done much good. FYI I had a little bit of blood last night so you may get this too xx

aww, i feel for you hun, i had an internal last week and she didnt even do one.....but after i had the worst pains in my back and down there.

I hope it stimulated something down there to get baby out!!!!!!!

I have the MW tomorrow but tbh i dont think she will do anything, shes a newly qualified MW and tends to send you to the hospital for EVERYTHING, so i will have to have an appointment at the hospital for a sweep

My next MW appt is at 39+2.

I can hardly move which is really bad when I've gotta run round after my 3 year old and my 8 year old nephew! I want Tiddler out.......

 

[Strangeness]

I had a sweep today and it didn't hurt at all which was good, think my cervix is way more ready. When they tried a couple of weeks ago and it didn't work it flaming killed!
