ok as a follow on from my question before,
some of you may have seen the pics i done for Zoe (rubysmummy) which she then got made into a calendar. and a few people have now asked me about habing them made for their own little ones.
the question is, how much would you be willing to pay for one.
Remember it would cost me about £6.50 to have it printed A5 (i'll have to check out prices for a4) and also it would be 13 personalised photos (each months and a cover) which take me quite a while to do.
any feedback is appreciated girls :D

for a gift - I would be willing to pay £20. After all you still have the photos after. Any more than that becomes quite an expensive gift and I would be willing to pay more for something that can be used indefintely but not for a calendar.

Oooh thats a good idea libs.....could be like a birthday calendar rather than a 2008 calendar.

I think other personalised calendars cost about £10-£15 ish but thats when you submit your own pics rather than have you do them.....so £20 is a very good price.....

Maybe you could do an offer like £20 for one or £35 for 2 etc? If I had one done I would do them s gifts for family & to cover us & the grandparents I'd need 5 so I think a few people would be in a similiar position.

thanks girl, im just not sure if its worthit as the photos take so long to do, to get them just right.
These are the other items ive been thinking about:
Canvas (different sizes)
poster (different sizes)
mug
mousemat
keyring
fridgemagnet
jigsaw
thank you cards
possibly seasonal cards (christmas, easter etc)

what whould people be willing to pay for each of these items?
:D

Def seasonal cards - would be great. Depending on how quickly you can work - how about birth announcements?
The problem with fridge magnets and stuff like that is that people only want to pay a bit - but you still have to do the work.

On the idea of calendars - why not do a one page one? So only one picture to do - or a 3 monthly one - only 4 pics to do? And def have an offer for more at a lower price - would make it a lot better value.

libs thats a really good idea, perhaps have a selection of styles to choose from, im definatly looking into it tonight. thanks hun

No problem - stick around for a few years tho and give me time to conceive and give birth cos I want one.

Either that or I have to work harder at convincing Josh that it's perfectly acceptable to want a pic of him as a waterlily.... :D

I would defiantly be willing to pay for a calander!

I would pay upto £20!

I wouldn't mind getting them printed myself like rubysmummy did!

I do think the calanders would be very popular on your site!

yeah i agree, loads have people have been asking me about them the only problem is they take sooooooooo long to do  which is annoying as id love to do them for everyone. :D

what a fab idea..
Litte*red, im working on the photos btw, i havent forgotton but been in hospital so will get them to you asap, but bear in mind my little man gonna be born soon, so if you cant wait dont worry its fine.. if you have others who are intrested! (if that makes sense)

Ok a guide to prices I'd be willing to pay:

Canvas (different sizes) - Around the £50 marker (ready to hang)
poster (different sizes) - Around £10
mug - Again around the £10 marker, perhaps £15
mousemat - Under £10
keyring - Few pounds, £5 tops I'd think
fridgemagnet - Few pounds
jigsaw - depending on finish, i.e. solid wood, cardboard etc £10-£20
thank you cards - About £2.50 per card....less when bought in say a half dozen or dozen cards
possibly seasonal cards (christmas, easter etc) - As with the TY cards.

Canvas (different sizes) depending on size around the 50 mark up to 100
poster (different sizes) again depending on size 10-25
mug 10
mousemat 7/8
keyring 5/6
fridgemagnet 5/6
jigsaw depending on size 10-30
thank you cards 3/4 each or offers for bulk
possibly seasonal cards (christmas, easter etc) 3/4 each or offers in bulk

hope this helps!
