DAMN IT

Alot of you will remember that while I was breast feeding Layla I suffered from blocked ducts in both breasts which then in turn led to a couple of abcesses in each breast at relevant times etc. Anyway, since I stopped breast feeding 6 weeks ago... I've had no problem what-so-ever... until now.

I have another one flared up this evening And it is very OUCHIE

Any idea why I now seem to suffer from these? Could it still have something to do with milk and blocked ducts? I haven't completely dried up yet? Can still squeeze a bit of milk out etc and when in hot bath/shower it just sort of "drips" out of me lol.

Any ideas? Thanks xx

Could be just because it's not dried up yet. Try massaging down towards the nipple in a nice hot bath. I've had it a couple of times and was agony until I tried that - thankfully it helped! x

Thanks hun... on closer inspection there seems to be like a blistery sort of "skin" there too? Raised... like a boil/blister? its right at the bottom of the areola (centrally) xx

It's got alot worse today I tried the whole massage thing but today it is far worse. Even having a soft cup non-wired bra on it hurts (and no bra hurts too) It's bigger and redder than yesterday and as for massaging it... I just can't trip to the doc for me in the morning... xxx
