Rich ( my husband) is off to Amsterdam on Sat for a stag weekend for my sisters hubby-to-be.
any of your blokes been before ? or any of you girls even!

any info would be great, i'm getting worried now what they're gonna get up to

we've been told theres a bar in the red light district called 'The Banana Room' women plus bananas, doesn't need a genuis to work out what that is the eh? oops perhaps i should have put this post in the 'Adult Area' instead :rotfl:

i have been hunny its a very wierd place but im sure he will be ok

My hubby to be has been before when he was younger and before we got together and he said its just loads of drinking, smoking in them cafes, the red light bit there is loads of them sort of bars :D loads of sad ladies sitting in the windows hoping you will go in and pay for sex!! He said they all look like they need to pay you :rotfl: and he wouldn' touch any of them with someone else's i think most people have a good laugh at them when they go and just enjoy the drink, im sure your hubby will do the same he will get a good laugh at least :D

the women i saw in tge windowws were minging too :puke:

:rotfl: Yes he said to me half of them you couldn't tell if they where male or female :puke: She-males maybe !! lol

I went on a college trip when I was 18  (why they decided on Amsterdam as a college trip venue I'll never know). We were left to our own devices for 3 days there, January, blooming freezing and the wierdest place I think I've ever been too. The cafe's and nightclubs are just strange, the women in the red light district gigging around in the windows are pot ugly and I'm surprised they get any business what so ever! There were bars with peep show things, put in a coin and the flap went down so you could see "the show" and as your money ran out the flap started closing slowely to entice you to pop another coin in the slot - women get into the clubs/bars for free (or did when I was there) but the men have to pay. It's a wierd place, everything and anything goes but to be honest I wouldn't worry about your hubby on the stag weekend, it's more likely to be drinking, looking at women giggling around behind glass windows/cages etc and taking in a culture that's utterly bizzare! Tell him to have a good time, invite the girlies round for a DVD and popcorn and forget about it, strange it is but he can't get up to anything there that doesn't happen here behind closed doors type thing.

Of course they might be going to look at the Anne Frank museum, Madam Tussauds wax works or a tour around working windmills...you never know!! :rotfl:

My DH wen't there on a stag do...let's just say i was very upset about it all. But i'm deeply insecure about things like that anyway.

I've been once but my OH has been quite a few times with the lads. There are a few dodgy areas but I my fella spent most of the time eating 'cakes' so nothing to worry about!

I went years ago and thought it was a lovely place, the people there are real friendly and polite. I didn't go for anything other than a fun weekend with friends, and the male friends who went were too shy to pay for anything :? Though personally I wouldn't want my OH going alone, we are hoping to go together as like I said it;s a nice place, you don't see kids around though, which is very weird, and I really didn't look at the women in the windows lol There's much more to do than pay for after hour activities there, there's many a lotion and potion to occupy many minds lol
