Ambers 8 week injections

Oh what a horrible day i have had, i thought after the horrid 6 week check and the doc messing with her hips i wouldnt feel so bad again...

Took Amber for her 8 week injections today and i felt so sick and helpless i had this big urge to protect her from the needles and take the pain away - and when she started crying a different cry to what i have ever heard before i felt so bad!

I have to face it all again in 4 weeks

The first ones always make you feel really bad, you want to cry your heart out with them but its not quite so bad the second time.

Yeh Alex had his 8 week jabs yesterday too (I know he's 10 weeks old). The first jab he was ok - little whimper but nothing major.
then the second jab in the other leg....he screamed the place down, poor little mite

He's been grumpy and had the runs a bit today. I think it might be jab related. I've given him calpol.
