This is probably going to sound silly but I can't help but worry Jamie isn't going to do things i.e crawl, walk, talk etc. for ages.

I know all babies do things in their own time & that does differ but when I read about other babies doing this & that at a certain age I think to myself that that is only 2 -3 months away & I really can't see Jamie being able to say words by then, he's not even attempting to say anything or trying to say Mumumum or Dadadada. Or I can't see him being able to crawl in a months time etc

Do these things just seem to happen all of a sudden or what?
I'm probably just being impatient

Nicki Jamie is very forward for his age hes sitting standing feeing himself
Harley had his first rice cake tonight and didnt no what to do with it. i no he was prem but other babies i no that are Jamies age are not doing the things J does.

i think with your first child its so easy to worry and really want them to learn things fast. i was like it with Dior. but once she was walking talking and no longer wanting to snuggle up in my arms i was wishing for the baby days back again :(

Nicki is Jamie attempting to make sounds? Ellie has been making noises at us for quite a while now. However everybody says you shouldn't compare. If he is not, does he have a dummy? I read somewhere that giving them a dummy can delay them starting to talk.

i think jamie is about at the smae stage alex was really - maybe a bit more advanced with his standing?

its so easy to worry - but i found alex would do something really fast. like within a week of first looking like he might stand against the furniture he was up at everthing!

the little one next door was saying mumma and dadda ages before alex did and yet now he has caught up and there is hardly a difference now!
