Hello all!

Sorry to go off on this long post but I am desperate for any advice. Im still very early on, 4w+5d, and yesterday when I wiped I had very faint faint pink discharge. Since then I have had such horrible tummy cramps and back pain.. It has continued on until today and I have had faint light brown discharge twice since then. I took a nap this morning hopping it would all subside and now I woke up feeling worse :(.. I still have the stomach and back cramps, they are slightly better when I lay down, but I also woke up very dizzy, headache and nauseous... I know each person is different but can anyone relate or is this abnormal? I keep psyching myself out saying this is a mc as it can't possibly be normal to feel sick like this, this early on? :((( can anyone relate? I have not been to the doctor yet, my appointment is for next week.

Any comments are much appreciated! :-)

Hi DohaRose, what you are describing sounds perfectly normal. Early on you feel all sorts of implantation pains andcan experience spotting as bean is getting snug and the sudden rise in hormones can make you feel sick very early. I'm sure it's absolutely nothing to worry about but if it is concerning you or the pain gets worse there's no harm in contacting your gp for a referral to the EPU, where they'll test your blood and do early scans to make sure everything is OK xx

This could be implantation - when the egg settles into the lining if the womb. I had horrendous cramps for that, like period pain but a little worse. You can also get a slight bleed with it, which is what the pink discharge might be. Brown is old blood, which may be just some old lining from the uterus. Try not to worry too much and see what happens, phone your gp if you're really concerned about it or if the pain and bleeding get worse. Hope you feel better x

Lol - unicorn beat me to it and said it all already ;-)
