and i cant help him, he gets bored of everything after 2/3 mins and is constantly crying, he throws tantrums when having his coat on and full scale screaming fits when hes out, iv tried the sling i bought yesterday and its crap, i dont know what to do, hes been teething since he was aboutr 2 and a half months old they keep coming up to ther gums and going but no cut teeth yet, and i dont think hes ever going to get a tooth! theres no sign of any and i want to cry!!!!!

sorry, i don't have any advise (not been through teething yet), but here are some hugs.

awww bless you both, don't know what to say really apart from you're doing a great job & stick at it, things do get easier.
Alfie must just be very intellegent to get bored quickly (thats what i reckon anyway) Louie too needs constant entertainment & sometimes Rich moans & i say what do you want a baby that just lays there & doesn't get any stimulation?

as for him getting his coat on...tantrums do start young these days !!!!! just perservere hun.
heres a big
sorry if i'm crap at advise!!!

I feel for you on both the teething and tantrum fronts, its just so hard sometimes isn't it? Leorah is ill again, yesterday she just laid there and did nothing (very scary) and today she is happy one minute and screaming the next :wall:

Isn't it ubfair that some babies suffer with the teething and some just sprout teeth like its nothing?

aaarw poor alfie!!! im sure those teethypegs will pop up soon, theyve been a long time coming!!!

as for the coat thing, i can just about get jamie into a hoody let alone a proper coat cos he fights me like a baby possesed!!!

Are you using Ashton & Parson's teething powder? They really help Ellie.

Teething probably isn't helping matters but they will pop through all of a sudden but the only bit of advise I can give is that Jamie went through exactly the same thing at that age & all I can put it down to was frustration of not being able to move on his own, as soon as he started shuffling then crawling it stopped (thank the lord!)

  aw hun, being a mum is so hard sometimes isn't it, sending you lots of

hiya hun

Well Ellis is not bloody cutting either but the pain is not there anymore due to some little tabs i am using so i thought i would tell you about them... seriously give them a try.

New Era Combination R for baby teething.
Dissovlable little tablets u put on there tougue 3 times a day.
They take a few days to get into there system but they are herbal so u can not overdose.

They sell them in holland and barrats i think and SOME chemists.

xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  Dont worry hun, things will get better! I would try the Ashton & Parson Powders - they worked wonders with Arianna.

As for screaming with the coat - I think thats just the norm!! I have never seen a baby not cry getting their coats on!

Have you tried the bicciepegs too, They helped Arianna to cut the gums as they are alot harder than rusks etc and she hated teething rings.

thankyou all so much youve really reassured me

the powders dont work but ill try them tabs thanks so much.

Today has been ok, not too bad but a few moments of screeching, he tried to crawl today and managed to push himself a few inches before screaming his head off :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

i hope it does get better when hes on the move it is alot of frustration there because he just wants to be into everything,

Foxy bless luie, he sounds like alfuies double with the constant attention, i think our boys will have huge personalities, but i bet when they are on the move itll be a case of nailing stuff down

Please dont take this the wrong way but I was sooooooo happy to see your thread simply because I thought I was the only person in the world with such a miserable baby. Rowan scream ALL DAY LONG he doesn't sleep and barely eats, its finishing me and today I broke down in tears, I feel like the worst mother in the world. I dont know if its teething, colic reflux or just pure frustration but its soooooooooo hard.
I'm going to try those new era tabs too, I'll try anything :D

Aw Steph  your poor little guy and his teefys!!

And a great big  to you too Stace, don't beat yourself up, your doing a great job!!!!

awww babe no it must be a relief to know its not just yours, i think we all get it, hows rowan been since cutting his tooth?
im praying it is teeth because Alfie on the whole is so happy and playfull, i dont want to lose that to a temper tantrummer, but if it is his pegs i can fully sympathise with him

big hugs babe, just a little longer and i am sure itll get better look for the light at end of the tunnel

I was just abut to post something similar!

Logan has been screaming ALL day!!!!!!

I tried the New Era tablets for Hayfever and they were fantastic so I am going to get the ones for teething.... I have had such a bad day! At one point I was sat on the floor with Logan in his cot crying my eyes out with him!! Please tell me this is just a phase and it will be over soon becasue I don't think I can cope with him like this....

well his buggy arrived today :cheer: :cheer: he seemed happy ion it haveing a play more room to move etc when all of a sudden out of nowhere he screamed and screamed and screamed and screamed untill he got picked up. whats that all about is it teething? or is it him playing up? he was really upset seriously tears dripping don his cheeks, hes no ot any nappy rash either which makes me think god it isnt, it sounds awfull what im about to say but i really hope it is teething, i hate the thought of him being in pain but if this is just how he is going to be it will drive me crazy!
