Hello to all! This is my first post over in Tri 1, I got my BFP yesterday after 15 long months!!

We have a weekend in Marbella planned for a few weeks time and I will only be 7 weeks. Now, I have read that it is safe to fly in Tri 1 but also other things to suggest avoiding it if you can. I can miss this trip and l will happily do so if there are any associated risks! We have waited so long for this new that I don't want to jeopardise it in any way!

Any thoughts/knowledge/experience?

Thanks in advance :-) x

I flew during pregnancy...I'm not aware of any risks until a lot later on xx

You'll be fine. I flew to Spain when I was 8 weeks pregnant with my first and Tenerife when I was 16 weeks pregnant this time. Midwife said just keep hydrated and on longer flight move around if u can. Enjoy your weekend!

Im flying to paris at 16 weeks in october, airlines say its fine until around 32 weeks or so xx

Flying is fine - airlines and insurance companies don't like Preggo ladies flying late in pregnancy in case they go into labour, it's not that it's unsafe. Speak to your mw for reassurance though and enjoy your trip!

I'm about to board a plane home at 14 weeks :) midwife said fine until much later on. I also have a nearly two year old on my lap! Hoping frozen colouring in book is works as well as it did coming over :) hope you have a great time! Xxx

I fly to London and Paris every other week, in my last pregnancy I went up to 32wks, plan to do the same this time round, you'll be fine x
