.... how long did you bleed for? Is it different for a normal delivery v section - I am still bleeding slightly at 4 weeks post section - is this normal?

i had vaginal births with all of mine and bled for 3/4 weeks.
some people can bleed upto 6 weeks or more

I think I bleed for 4 - 5 weeks, very heavy bleeding the first 2 weeks then like a normal period after. IT's your body cleaning everything out. I think people who have a c-section maybe worse, as their body doesn't kick all the gunk out as quick as a normal delivery.

OH and if you haven't been old yet, your next few periods after giving birth are VERY heavy! I've just finished my 2nd period and both times, I've had to still use maternity pads. MY first period, I had to call in sick for 3 days at work.

I bled a long time after my sections. I'm sure I had stopped and then got my period, it was so long.

only properly for about 2 weeks, but it didnt completely stop until about 6 weeks after (just more like spotting really, had to wear them panty-liner efforts) i had a normal birth
