AF sorry if TMI.. strange pains

Ok, i was 6days late on my period..
i experienced extreamly bad pains, worse than EVER before..
been taking so many pain killers..
today.. its not so much a pain.. its been twinger in my ovaries.. butteflys..
i cant explain the feeling.. and AF has almost stopped.. even tho been on for 2days and was extreamly heavy at first.. (sorry if tmi changing every few hours)
what could this be???

i've been reading about m/c.. and i'm so worried now..
those pains wernt normal.. and sorry if tmi.. was alot of clotted blood which is not normal for me..
i hope i'm wrong..

although the doctors originally said fibroids (without any examination ) it was actually a m/c as confirmed a little later by my gp

alternatively it could just be one of those things

either way look after yourself

really sorry to hear about your m/c...
Does this sound familular..
extreamly bad pains.. shooting pains in ovaries..
then next day.. spotted bleeding...
then extreamly heavy bleedin and clotted blood etc..
no twinges, and very light spotted bleeding again..
ooh no :'(

all I remember is the awful pain and not being able to think, heavy blood loss and clots. Nothing round my ovaries but of course everyone's different. My blood loss did stop after a few days and then after a few days more heavy spotting

my pains have become more copeable..
jus had shower. and wash etc.. sorry if tmi.. but clotted blood etc..
i duno what to do..
i could just be over reactin, i dunno..
how will GP know tho if i did m/c??

sorry i dont really know much about m/c, i am not sure how they know, did you say you were on the pill? how long ago did you come off it? i am asking this cause when i was on the pill my cycles were v light and i had no stomach cramps at all but now i have come off it my cycles are really heavy, i get really bad cramps and sometimes chest pains too, i also have clots(sorry if TMI) last month was worse cause AF lasted a week and I was also a bit worried xxx

i'm hoping it was because i came off the pill 3mnths ago.. and this is a normal 'cycle' ??
as i was kn pill 5years..
but last few cycles have been ontime and normal.. jus this one so different and late..
i will never know..
probably better..

Hi,

Sorry to hear about the awful probs you've been having. Just wanted to say I've had similar experiences - last year I had pg symptoms, a funny AF and then got a very very faint pos, before getting a neg the next day. Since finishing breast-feeding, and especially after my m/c I've had some very odd & unpleasent symptoms on some cycles (2ww was hell with very heavy AFs at the end). However other cycles were absolutely fine!!

Not sure what was going on but I do think if anything upsets your hormonal status quo (breast feeding, the pill etc) it can take a while for your body to get back to normal. Hope things settle down very soon.

Hi, I'm not sure if I can help here but i'll try. About two years ago I was sitting downstairs when the most awful excruciating pain occured, so bad I thought I was going to pass out. I was alone at the time and in so much pain I was eventually curled up in a ball crying on the carpet. When the pain subsided after several minutes I got the urge to go to the toilet and passed a lot of really clotted blood, really heavy bleeding. I apologise in advance for this next bit as it might be too much information but I feel its important.... I noticed down the toilet there was a particularly large clot and fished it out. On observing it I noticed it was like skin coloured, like a skin membrane and a little stretchy (told you TMI). Because the pain had almost disappeared as quickly as it arrived I sort of dismissed the idea of a miscarriage but called my friend to ask her if she thought it was. She said no but then she is a little strange at times. Another friend later confirmed this was more than likely a miscarriage. I know I should have visited the doctor but by the time I realised it was several days/weeks on. I would like to think it wasnt a miscarriage but if im honest I think it was. I never knew I was pregnant as I wasnt TTC or really felt ready for another baby at that moment in time. Anyway I hope you are ok and my post helped somewhat. Baby Dust xxx

Sounds to me as if it could have been Sammy!!! I think the funny episode I had with the very faint pos. last year could have been a very early one too (which scares me because it would mean I've had 2).

It's impossible to know for sure and the docs can't tell you much either. After my m/c this year I searched fruitlessly for answers for weeks but of course there were none!!! It's one of the hardest parts I think, not knowing what or why!!!

In time it does get easier to accept but it doesn't help with the fear that it may happen again!!
