Advice needed

Hi ladies,

Does anyone's baby hold there breath when they cry , Ruby's 6 weeks old and when crying has started holding her breath for about ten seconds. It really scares me when she does this. She goes bright red in the face I don't know what to do ... When she done it last night I picked her up straightaway as i thought it would settle her but she still held her breath for a few seconds.

Yep all babies do it scares the hell out of me too still !! They can't actually stop themselves breathing so will always take a breath at some point little monkeys ! Xxx

Mine only does it when its a 'hurt' cry, like when she bites down too hard on a toy etc. I hate it.
