HELP

How do I cut around an object in a photo (ie a dog) to then pic it up and either copy it into another photo or put it in a blinkie / avatar.

I have looked in the help section and I can't suss it :wall: :wall:

I am aware that I am technologically challenged but usually I can figure stuff out through trial and error - this, however I can't

Please, please help me!!

Is it just the cutting out you need help with? If it is I did a tutorial a few weeks back, I'll try and find it.

EDIT: I just realised you've already seen that thread so never mind, I wont try and find it

As for moving things you just click and drag, in Photoshop you can also click and drag from one window to another.

Sorry if that makes no sense :?

I will have a look again for that thread.

I can't figure out what tool to use to cut around

It's all too complicated for me

That tutorial thingy that I did is here:

But if you go to photoshop help, search for 'polygonal' theres a page that should come up with detailed instructions on how to use the tool, probably easier to follow than mine :)

Iv broken our photoshop, it keeps not letting me unhighlight things. just keeps making more and more highlighted squares! :x

My Photoshop keeps breaking my laptop, I really need a new desktop PC so it works better
