It's not the best source of energy, but it won't harm your baby.

Your baby will take from you what it needs. Just try and keep drinking lots of water with your McD and eat plenty of fruit throughout the day.

I am addicted to ................................................................Pregnancy Forum. I am at work with a load of stuff to do, I've been out with contrators all morning and still need to go home and let my poor puppy out but what am I doing, surfing PF. It has to stop. I've spent more time on this website in the last ten weeks than I have doing my work.

Every morning I promise myself I am not going to log on and within ten minutes of sitting at my desk I end up 'having a quick look' and 8 hours later......................... the rest is history.

I'm right off Mcd's at the mo.

I took the kids on Saturday as a treat and I had a McFlurry which was actually quite nice. But I don't think i could stomach one of their burgers.
In fact the last time i went a few months ago I felt ill all afternoon after eating a McChicken Sandwich.

I did used to love their QuarterPounders tho with cheese.

Question - Are McDonalds strawberry milkshakes classed as a no-no? I haven't had any since being pregnant but I absolutely adore them!! My OH and I were discussing it and I'm not sure if they use any wippy ice cream in the shakes? Am I right in saying I'm not allowed to have wippy ice-cream cause of the bacteria??


I've also become totally addicted to pickled onions! But they can't just be any old pickled onions, they have to be from the local chip shop!
We've bought around 4 jars of different kinds but none of them were doing it for me

If you can find then, try Garners pickled onions. They are to die for. and after eating a whole jar, you may just feel like doing that....I know from painful experience!!

I hardly ever have mc donalds anymore cos the nearest one is 17 miles away That's probably a good thing though.
