I have been dilated 2 cm for 3 weeks and having contractions but I have stalled out and not progressing. I am now at 37 weeks and the Dr says that anytime the baby wants to come she will be ok. I am wanting to try acupressure to speed up the labor but everything I have read says that it only helps if you are IN LABOR. Will it help with me? Does anyone have any suggestions to help speed this up?

Have you tried Clary sage or nipple stimulation? lots of women are 2 or 3cm for weeks though and don't even realise, I went about 10 days after being told I was 2-3cm with my daughter. Best thing you can do is relax and try to forget your dilating, in theory you could be another 5 weeks away and so focusing and stressing about getting baby out now will do the opposite, you can go backwards and cervix can close if your not relaxed enough. Make most of the time you have left and you can guarantee baby will make an appearance when you least expect it!
