iiii had a little turtle his name was tiny tim
i put him in the bathtub to see if he could swim
he drank up all the water
and ate up all the soap
and now hes ill in bed with a bubble in his throat
BUBBLE BUBBBBBLEEE POP!
I took poor little timmy along to see the vet
despite of all their trying the bubble he could not get
the bubble kept on growing untill it went off BOOM!
and now poor little timmy is flying round the room.
Kids at nursery love this.
Also ice cube painting make ice cubes with abit of paint and let them paint with them, sand play, water play, great for summer is getting baloons and pretend bugs and stretch the baloons at the end and put the bugs in them by stretching them over and pulling them inside out then fill the baloons with water and freeze them, when they are frozen slit the baloon with a knife and they should slide off easily and let them play with them.
Get sand and put twigs and leaves etc in and little toy dinoursaurs (imaginative play)
little trampolines are loved!!! bubbles are great you can get magic ones that you can catch and they dont pop, i got some from the natrual world shop.
Story sacks, they have a book, and a cd that reads the book out, and then props that go along with it, Really good for children and younger children will listen to stories without getting bored!
megablocks and wooden bricks, all children like to build (or help build) a tower and knock it down again!!
cooking, rice krispy cakes being the easiest.
Just a few ideas and most of these are for toddlers i guess but the painting etc is good for babies too
