wot kind of activitys do u do with ur babies
braydon seems to get bored very easily and wanted to do more stuff wit him ne ideas?

we sing, and we like to dance to kerrang, scuzz or cheesy dance (love a bit of cheesy dance)
paint (bloody messy though)
go out to the park
blow raspberries
read stories (with the obligatory funny voices)

Seren will also play with her toys ok, loves books to play with by herself

Beanie it sounds like you and Seren have fun, its made me wonder if me and ella dont spend enough time playing together  Does she not try to eat the pait brush, Ella would lol.

I was actually reading about this today Sarah and it said sit your baby down with some stuff like pots and wooden spoons and any safe objects from the house (no need to spend a fortune on baby toys) and play with them together, bang them together so they can hear the different noises they make and they will soon copy. I did this today and Ella copied me and started banging the spoon and a plastic lid together!

hannah loves playing in water and and we play with bubbles cheap and cheerful

chloe lights up wen i blow bubbles 4 her!!! i love it 2 :D

Dont be tempted to give him too much to play with, I find that a lot of toys at once leads to jess not playing well.

We sing and draw with crayons but we also play with her toys,( she loves thomas the tank) and she plays well herself. She comes round and cleans with me, she has a clean wipe and just wipes things.

He is probably getting a bit frustrated, they get like this just before they start doing something new.

ruben and i...

- sing (poor boy.... :rotfl: but he seems to like it despite my dreadful voice!)
- play with his toys and his treasure basket
- go for walks in the park and look at (and attempt to eat  ) flowers and grass
- read a story (ruben always tries to grab the book!)
- play humpty-dumpty (sp?)
- blow raspberries and play tickle games
- dance around (i dance, ruben is in laughter fits - i don't blame him, i'm a terrible dancer!)
- play a baby version of hide and seek (where i drape a muslin cloth over his face and then peek under it to "find" him. he LOVES that game!
- go swimming
- go to the local BFing group or to see friends with babies so they can play together
- "bully" the cat (ruben, not me!!! i'm too fond of the cat but ruben grabs his fur by the fistful!)
- bathtime in the evenings is always a laugh, we both end up soaked! bubbles and bath toys and splashing galore

I agree with that, Seren loves bashing a wooden spoon off everyhting (table, boxes, cat, me etc)

We don't use a paintbrush as she was trying to eat it all the time. I paint her hand and just let her have fun on the paper but you have to be quick and make sure she doesn't put her hand in her mouth

Reece's fave pastime is me chasing him round and round the couch. He could do it all day. i've got permantly sore knees

I can keep him entertained for hours with a few building blocks. We sit on the floor and I help him build towers then we knock them down.

He also loves hand puppets. I just bought a couple of animal bath mits from Wilkos as a cheap alternative (99p for 2) and he finds them hilarious

Drums and xylophones are ace for them aswell as they think its great whacking away and making tunes :D

I'm always singing to Ava. She loves when we sit down with a book and I try to read to her. It's kind of hard with her flipping the pages every 2 seconds. She has a little power wheels that we bought her for her birthday and I've been taking her out at some point in the day to ride it. She loves to slide and swing. She still loves to play peek-a-boo, even tries to hide under the covers now.

iiii had a little turtle his name was tiny tim
i put him in the bathtub to see if he could swim
he drank up all the water
and ate up all the soap
and now hes ill in bed with a bubble in his throat
BUBBLE BUBBBBBLEEE POP!

I took poor little timmy along to see the vet
despite of all their trying the bubble he could not get
the bubble kept on growing untill it went off BOOM!
and now poor little timmy is flying round the room.

Kids at nursery love this.

Also ice cube painting make ice cubes with abit of paint and let them paint with them, sand play, water play, great for summer is getting baloons and pretend bugs and stretch the baloons at the end and put the bugs in them by stretching them over and pulling them inside out then fill the baloons with water and freeze them, when they are frozen slit the baloon with a knife and they should slide off easily and let them play with them.

Get sand and put twigs and leaves etc in and little toy dinoursaurs (imaginative play)

little trampolines are loved!!! bubbles are great you can get magic ones that you can catch and they dont pop, i got some from the natrual world shop.

Story sacks, they have a book, and a cd that reads the book out, and then props that go along with it, Really good for children and younger children will listen to stories without getting bored!

megablocks and wooden bricks, all children like to build (or help build) a tower and knock it down again!!

cooking, rice krispy cakes being the easiest.

Just a few ideas and most of these are for toddlers i guess but the painting etc is good for babies too :D

hearts, noah loves all the same things as reece! He does laps of the sofa and if you go 'boo' he buries his hear and waves his arms round giggling.

Also if anyone or their OH can juggle that is really cool, Noah loves to see daddy juggle with his toys, he laughs like mad.

Yeah I've just taught OH to juggle and Reece thinks its great. The only thing is Carl is still learning so its a bit dangerous to be close to him lol
