Has anyone ever tried this and if so did it work for you? I am booked in to have accupuncture treatment on Thursday evening and the lady who is doing it has assured me that the treatment has good success rates for inducing the onset of labour.

I am not going to get my hopes up but apparently the results can be instant. I would love to hear from anyone who has tried this approach to inducing labour and if it was successful for you xx

I used a very good accupuncturist back in Ireland and he specialises in PCOS and pregnancy related issues and i know has done a lot of labour induction and even labour pain treatment, from what i hear its very successfull, Id almost be tempted to fly him over here for my labour lol

Will be curious to find out how it goes for you :)

Ooh that sounds promising then!!! I never even considered it as a form of coping with labour pain but I can see how it could work. I will let you kno how it goes! X

I had acupuncture for spd and to encourage labour at it didn't work for me at all. But it does for some!

A couple of friends have sworn by reflexology to get them going if the acupuncture doesn't work!!
