Abroad for birthday and gender reveal this week.

I've just realised I've been using the first tri when I should be here!

So you may know we have the gender of our baby in an envelope, which is super tricky not to open. But since I didn't plan to find this out so early, (it was through having the Nipt test), we decided to wait until my birthday whilst I'm abroad this week. We have prepared balloons and coloured confetti to tell the children for fun. I'm still 50/50 whether I should know, but it is exciting.

I'm nervous of going abroad in the heat, as I can hardly stand it in the UK! Has anybody else been away during this tri?

Going abroad will be easier if you have a pool..... air conditioning is everywhere abroad too. Enjoy yourself xx

In all honesty, abroad is easier to cope with the heat. My husband is Spanish so you’d think he’d be used to hot weather, but he’s really struggled with the heat wave because in Spain everywhere has air con, even dive bars, apartments, shops, public transport. You name it, there’s air con. So it’s much easier to deal with abroad (unless you’re going camping, in which case, sorry you’re just going to be hot )
