Haven't had much energy to go out this week as Tyler hasn't been sleeping well because of his cold and today I chickened out of going to a new baby group as every other I've been sat on my own and I don't wanna have to do that again! Tyler got wound up as I didn't get to him to feed him quick enough and got to that inconsolable crying stage (I felt so bad always want to cry too lol!) was meant to go post office today and didn't have the energy! My OH is home tonight and I think it's Gibbs be a heavy evening as I sent him an email last week about his constant going out (if I talk he gets defensive and starts an argument) and he only got it yesterday when he was away. At first he sounded really conceded and upset but since has been really sarcastic about it!

Just one of those days me thinks!

Awww I'm sorry you're having a sucky day hun. It's so hard when they're inconsolable isn't it.

I completely understand how you feel about baby groups, I haven't been to one because I'm afraid i'll be on my own. How about going to a breastfeeding support group if you have one near you? At least everyone will be there for the same reason and some of those people may go to groups that you could also go to. Just a thought.

I hope your day gets a little better.

:hugs: I've had no energy since I had Lo mainly because of leg Infection and lo not sleeping. So I definitely feel for you.

Really hope your other half comes home in a supportive mood xxx

I can completely understand how you feel about baby groups. I feel like such a lemon when I go that it puts me ff going. :-( I try to talk to people but I am quite shy. The group local to me is full of toddlers, not babies. The other group is a 30 mile round trip for me. It's a nicer group but really drains my petrol. :-( x

It's worse because we moved here when I was pregnant so I don't know anyone at all near by!

:( im so shy with people, maybe go on to i think its mumsnet or netmums and they have like a thing whre you put your postcode in..its called meet a mum, and people postt on this messge board that they live in such a place n how old their kids are and would like to make a friend..i did itand joined a secret fb group for my town with mums on, and havent been to the big group meetings but i just posted saying how fed up i was and sick of sitting in the house, ended uptalking to one girl wih a boy a bit younger than C, and met up with her the other day only for an hour, i found it wawbt as bd as a big group x

Hope you're feeling a bit better? I had a look at netmums and it does look good. Are any PF ladies nearby you? I met someone from PF (dirty lurker ;) ha ha she might read this!) and it has been really great. We're now good pals.xx

Haha laura, u caught the lurker out! I did read this as I am feeding lol. I wouldnt recommend meeting from this forum, some people are soooo hard to get rid of ;-) only kidding, as olive says maybe someone on this lives close to you that you could meet. I didn't have any friends with babies and now I met laura I think we have disclosed more about things than I've told my friends lol and it's great having a good pal going through similar things xx

Ha ha I knew it!! Nearly lolled in bed there (sounds a bit wrong doesn't it lol). Hope you have a good night mon amie. See you the morra! :D xx

I've been on net mums and have added 6 ladies on fb that are local to me. Not met up with any yet tho. Small world tho as one of them was friends with one of my aunts!

Will have to try that netmums ^^

Pinky have you tried baby swimming or massage? I haven't been myself but I imagine it'll be a bit easier to cope with than the baby group for some reason.

The Gutting thing about babyswim is thats it my very close friend that runs the classes but term hasn't started and I'll need to rely on my OH to take me on the car as it's quite far away! I'm taking Tyler to the pool next weekend with my mum to see of he likes it or not!

Just wanted to say I got out today and feel a million times better! Think I had cabin fever!

I haven't gone to baby groups yet either. I don't think there's a point except socializing for myself; I'll go when Vince can benefit from it as well, when he can sit up and play with toys, etc.

(I am not the most sociable person either!)

Exactly the same as me! I'll go when she can interact better with the other. children

I've been taking Dylan to a baby group since he was 2 weeks old! But then I guess I probably have a bit more confidence with it as it's the same play I go to toddlers groups and I know all the staff etc, they are great places to meet new people and they make you feel a bit more normal! It gets easier the more you go :) xx

I might try that too! The issue Im having at the moment is that most of my friends have no children and they just think Im a crazy lady for being pregnant with number 3 when Im only 24. Id love to meet some people irl who didn't think I was mad
