So operation better nights sleep seemed to work last night

We started with the infacol at around 7pm ish. He went down at 9 on his crib after a feed and slept til 10

He woke with a bit of wind, had a feed and then went back down at 11 and slept til nearly 1

Then had a quick feed and slept til 2. Then nappy change and feed and he went back off at 3

I put him on his side at this point and he slept thru til around 6.45!!!!

He's just had a big feed around 45 mins so hopefully he'll go back off

I'm still knackered but happy that we've had a better night and touch wood although it says it can take a few days to work the infacol seemed to have made inroads into his wind xx

Thanks for all your advice ladies over the last few days couldn't of done it without you and I'm proud to say my boy is 1 week old today

Xxxx

I can put Albert on his back all I like but he'll always flip onto his left side. If he's comfy then that's fair enough imo. He sleeps much better and for longer that way.

Glad things seem to be settling down.....long may it continue! xxxxxxxxx

So glad things are going better for you now! :)

I used to put my little boy on his side he loved sleeping Like that, I've tried it this time but she doesn't seem to like it xxxx

Great news! What a little star Harry is. And can't believe he's a week already. Evie did 10 til 1.45pm last night - longest night stretch I've ever had! Yay for all the well behaved babies!! Xxx

It just makes you feel so much more positive the next day doesn't it. Even though I'm severely lacking in sleep I just feel happier today

I suspect the hormones are beginning to settle down a bit too. I dont doubt there'll be another bad night in the next few days but until then I'll be happy!!

A week in was when I was most hormonal. I remember sitting on my sister in laws bed pumping my boobs and crying inconsolably to her! Luckily she's a midwife support worker so was very understanding and had loads of great advice!

Glad u had a good night.

Henry sleeps better on his tummy because of his colic (last night was 9:30-3, 4:15-7 & 7:30-9). The last hour and a half was only cos I didn't wanna get up so fed him layin down in bed :)

Glad you've had a better night Hun. I hope it continues for you x
