Hi all
after a morning of nervous tummy, backwards and forwards to the loo, and what seemed like forever waiting we got to the appointment early at 12:20 and they called us straight through!
Within seconds the little blobby shape with hands and feet was waving around on the screen.
The sonographer was fab and showed us the heartbeat, bloodflow (in colour) and it showed the bloodflow almost reaching up to the placenta but not quite - she said by week 12 that will be going right the way up.
It was wriggling it's hands and feet around and we heard the heartbeat three times too.
My hubby, mum and dad all got to come in and have a look too!
Measuring 25mm CRL we are spot on for 9weeks 3 days as expected.
then off to the pub for a nice lunch with hubby, my little girl and mum and dad and half a shandy to celebrate!!
