7 week scan

I had my 7 week scan on Saturday - everything is fine and we could see the little heartbeating like a mad thing! I was so relieved that all is ok. I would post a picture, but I haven't a clue how to!

My morning sickness also started with full force on Friday and now I feel crap most of the time! I've been trying to force feed myself, but every moment I'm convinced I'm going to hurl! Really not looking forward to work next week as I have a 2 hour drive there, then 2 hours back and in between have to do a presentation to the whole department - eek! That'll be fun if I feel this rough!

Still, on the plus side, we've now told our immediate family the news and they're over the moon - it's so nice to be able to talk to them about it now - especially my mum. Getting more excited now!!

Congralations! Glad everything is well and good. Isn't it reassuring to know there is something there! In terms of sickness, maybe something light but lovely like watermelon? That made me happy for a bit.

Journey for presentation sounds like a pain, take plenty of rests, water and food in car!

Ok, here is the picture. Not very clear, I'm afraid as it's a picture of a picture (no scanner at home!). Still, you can see the blob in the middle and right at the very centre a nice strong heartbeat - hurrah!

Buddabun - Hope this helps as I know you've got your 7 week scan coming up, so might show you what to expect. It actually looks more baby-like than I expected really - although my other half disagrees!

Yes my scan is on Thurs although I have the dreaded needle tomorrow to get through before I can think about that.

I am bricking it about both appts!
