6 or 10 weeks!!

First of all congratualtions Jenny! Secondly get used to moaning about your aches and pains we all do it!!

:D

Firstly, congratulations & welcome to the forum.

Never let the doctor make you feel stupid, I changed GP and put in a complaint when the doc basically told me off for TTC! I'm 21 & have PCOS so I knew it could take a long time. My old GP told me I was far to young to even consider it, I should concentrate on a career and not even think about a baby for 10 years!

Needless to say she wasn't my GP for long...I've put in a complaint but don't think anything's come of it.

What I'm trying to say, is that your doctor should make you feel comfortable & supported. If your GP doesn't do that then switch.

Congratulations again!

Whereabouts in West Yorkshire are you by the way? I'm in Leeds.

Hi and welcome!

Don't worry about moaning, you should read my post today..I too am sick of sleeping!

Your midwife doesn't sound too nice!... tell her she's supposed to help not raise your blood pressure!

Good luck with it all!

Hello

Welcome to the forum!!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy, wishing you a healthy and happy 9 months!!

As the others have said, we all moan about our aches and pains, they are a nightmare, but you get used to it.........I had to laugh at you carrying your bbs, I have to do that in the mornings when I come down the stairs

And as for all the sickness, tiredness and god knows what else, just remember it will all be worth it in the end  Thats what I keep telling myself!

I agree, give your Doc one more chance, but if no joy, you change your Docs and get a decent one!

Good Luck hun  xx

I know Shipley, I work in Guiseley so not that far away. I looked at houses in Baildon before moving to Horsforth!

Good luck tonight!

Hi Jenny,

Congratulations! You made me laugh about carrying your boobs, I'm currently wearing a shock absorber sports bra to bed - Soooo sexy!
I've gone from a DD to a G cup! OH keeps calling me Jordan and I carry them around the house day and night, try not to while at work though or may get funny looks!

As for tiredness, I cried last night (am V.emotional too) cos I slept for 3 hrs after work and wanted to stay awake.

my sickness is starting to kick in too, more at night and I was wretching in bed last night - Again soooo sexy!
But it's all good signs of a healthy pregnancy so in a way i'm grateful, just want to reach 12 weeks and hopefully they'll start to fade then.

Good luck tomorrow hun, X

:rotfl: Wind! how bad is it! I can't control mine at all. no matter where I am or who I'm with, It just makes me giggle uncontrollably with the embarrassment of it, you're talking to a complete stranger and Pharp! silence speaks volumes! :rotfl: OH reckons the missing tiles off the roof are cos of me!

congratulations hun iam abot six weeks gone not got exact date as not gone for my first scan im new to this as well as this is my first baby hope you reply back take care :) :) :) :)

Heya
Congratulations! Hope u have a healthy happy pregnancy!
I feel sick 24/7 too and my boobs are killing me! My nipples feel like i have sunburn on them lol :rotfl:
If you eat small bits every now and then..basically wean yourself back onto food, it will help alot.
With my 1st i always felt sick but never was actually :puke: (bonus!-hate being sick!)
The thought of food makes my stomach go funny and the small is even worse!! I have to force myself to eat as im taking pregnacare which u have to take on a full stomach :wall:
U have to eat as the baby needs it and seeing as you are working mega long hours, u need it too! Maybe start taking vitamins and folic acid to replace what your not eating? I chose pregnacare as it has alot of great stuff for me and baby and u can take it thru breastfeeding too! And it makes me eat dinner as u have to take it with food!
If u can eat without being sick it probably is only mind over matter, so just have something small, like a salad or even a yoghurt? I pick at foods, so i chose to switch from choccie to youghurt! Its the only think i can stomach to think of let alone eat :rotfl:
Anyway i hope ur symptoms dye down soon, they should do after 1st tri..its ur body getting used to it which is the hardest!
Plus im dozing off all the time! Not good when u have a mischevious 2 year old who likes to draw on yu while u sleep!
Have fun!

I am in the exact same situation as you I am 7-10 weeks pregnant but this is being confirmed soon as I am recently booked my first scan... I must admit I am nervous!
My boobs have been very tender past few weeks sometimes hurts to put my bra on!!! and as for the sickness... ARGH! I get sick in the afternoon which is really inconvienent cause I am at work!

Is it just me or do all first time mums get paranoid about things going wrong?
