Hi there - I was told by my GP that the FSH/LH blood test should be done between days 2 and 4. Not sure why it is different to the day you were told to do it? My GP was really helpful and said to say it was for hormone testing, therefore, it had to be done within the window. I told the receptionist this and they squeezed me in. Perhaps you could call back and ask to speak to the doctor if the receptionist isn't too helpful? x

I'll check my letter but my consultant asked for a day 5 test but there was an alternative test you could do on day 21 (I think) for the same result.

I'll try to remember to look tonight to see what it said as I haven't had day 5 bloods done as my referall letter came after day 5 (not that what day 5 was was actually a period!).

I think CD9 will be too late, I am sure it has to be done between 2-5. Is there a local hospital that has a walk-in blood service, with mine I can go any day (apart from weekends) you just take a ticket and wait. If not, ask to speak to your GP and see if they can fit you in, sometimes the receptionists don't understand the importance of these things needing to be done on certain days x

I don't know much about it all but I do think shes wrong too, I just looked it up and it actually seems to say should be done on CD2-4. I have read ladies on here having it done on day 5 though. I would push to have them changed as results may be inaccurate if done that late x

I'd say the GP is wrong too, when I had these done my fertility Dr told me it's really important these are done between CD2-5

I know how you feel, they make us all go around the houses all the time, it never seems to be simple x
