4D scans

We're thinking of booking a 4D scan...how much on average should we be paying...the places I've found locally range from £90 to £165 for the basic package...

And can anybody recommend anywhere in the North West area?!

Hiya,

I have found a place near Manchester called Babybond, there are all different options that you can go for, the most expensive package is £195.00.

Spoke to someone there before & she said you can go from 26 weeks onwards, you ring up about 10-12 days before to book the appointment & then pay the full amopunt when you are there on the day.

I will definately booking an appointment nearer the time.

I am going to Babybond in my local area in 3 weeks time.

I'm having a 4D option 2 scan which will cost £175 for 4 x 3D pictures and a 10 minute DVD of the whole thing. They also give you the gender of the baby if required and and general wellbeing check list.

I'm really looking forward to it. xxx

Hi, sorry to butt in on someone elses topic but i have a question about 4D scans. I am really interested in having one done but I dont want to know the gender of the baby. Is it possible not to find out or is the likelihood that I would be able to see what sex my baby is?

It's a pity you guys live in North West, I had mine done in Nottingham - £85 for 20 minute DVD, a photo CD (mine had 75 pictures), 5 small photos, 1 a4 photo... but the place I went to was a private place and not a chain so they don't have any other sites sorry.

We're having ours this coming Saturday at Babybond - £195 for package option 1. We don't want to know the gender, so we'll just tell them that when we arrive. Am starting to get excited about it now!!

but you can get the prices cheaper through ebay if you can go on a tuesday or thursday evening or a friday daytime

I got the £135 celebration scan for £85 as I went on a thursday night - think that's the £95 package on ebay now..

If you're unsure about going through ebay, just give them a call and say a friend got theirs cheaper on a thursday night and see what they say..
