4d scans?

hi when i had my daughter i got some 4d scans done, although i had to pay it took a while to convince my ex to take me and by the time he would i was 32 weeks which was a shame as not much room for baby to move about

this time me and my new partner want to get them done earlier, when is the best time so u can see baby have a good move about but still look like a baby?

I had mine done yesterday and was told the best time is between 28 and 29 weeks.

I had a 4d preview at 25 weeks and the pics were brill - My very kind MIL has booked us another short 4d Scan on the 30th March when I will be 30 weeks as the clinic we went to advised this was the best time to have a 4d scan as the baby has put on some weight and the pics you get will be more of a representation of how your baby will look at birth.

Roo's were brill at 28 weeks!

People tend to say around 26 - 30 weeks for good pics I think. x

awww miss u getting another one lucky u im sooo green with envy right now lol enjoy..

I got one at 25 weeks and scan itselfe was AMAZING but maybe as the girls above said maybe wait little longer as my pics clear but maybe not as clear as some of the others enjoy whenu do get it

hahah Yeah we are over the moon to be able to see our girly again!

Obviously MIL and FIL will be coming down to come with us (they live 70 miles away) the clinic is very reasonable that we used - as we went for a gender scan at 25 weeks (it's policy for the hospitals not to tell you the sex at your scans here) which cost us £55 they offer you a further 15 min 4d scan at a later date for £40 - We could not pass up a chance to see her again for that price!

Our gender scan was supposed to have a 4d preview but they sexed the baby within a couple of mins and then went straight for the 4d scan for the rest of the 15/20 min appt - we could not have been happier with the company and the way we were treated

Can't wait to compare the 25 weeks and 30 week photos!!! xx

ur next set of photos will be fab prob better than ur others. Ive had 2 private ones now and my OH put his foot down and told me no more haha so its a long wait till June for me.. Cant wait to see ur pics x

I guess I'm lucky in that I'm still having the 2d scans at the hospital every 2 weeks to check on the volume of fluid so I get to see bubs every other week. Although, can't help but think I'll be disappointed next week when I have a normal scan and don't see bubs features etc like I did yesterday.
