So I really wanted one, but now I'm thinking Is it worth it?
Don't want to spend lots of money and get nothing or do most the time they get something...
Anyone give good experiences with these?
xx

So far after 2 goes at 27 weeks and 31 weeks mine has been a waste of money and time. The sonographers are very good though and so far we've had an hour and half trying to see baby's face, but not much you can do when your babys face is covered by it's hands, feet and cord while being buried into your hip! I'm really really gutted about the whole thing esp as everyone else has seemed to had a brilliant time with lovely photos, it's just made me more upset! I was hoping it would help me bond but hasnt. We're trying once more when my hubby gets back on shore but I dont hold much hope as baby hasn't moved and will probably be really squashed! Hubby says baby owes him £100 now (we got a summer deal)!
It didn't even occur to me this would happen esp as they said we can go back to try again so assumed we would get something! I don't even have one picture!

theones with my daughter were excellent had thm done at 32 weeks cost 180

with this one i found a package where u have 3 scans done over course of pregnancy for 250,although they were still good most of the time i had his arms up or some cord in the way

i had mine at 27 weeks than had to go back at 29 because she was snuggled into the placenta. i know people who have had them done earlier and there better, we paid £120 for ours and an extra £10 for pictures on a disk.
this is our last baby and i never had them before with my first two, it wasnt what i expected to be honest. it depends on the babys positioning and stuff x x

Well I've decided I will give it a go as I really wanted one. Found a package for £95 which is the lower one but you get DVD and CD so guessing thats good?
xx

Friends of ours had one and it really looks like the baby now he is born!! I have booked up for one in a few weeks!!
xxxx

where do you look for them, can anyone recommend a good company in east midlands

Same in Scotland please :) I really want one, but don't want to spend too much! xx

I just searched on google for 4d scans in my area, then was looking for the better out of them all. x

I got mine done for free as the Dr where I work does them (he normally charges 180....you get 2 disks....one with footage and one with pics and also 4-6 print outs depending how much you can see. I think the price is a bit steep but after getting to see the scans every week I would have definately paid for 1. The Dr where I work does them between 23-29 weeks (he wont do any earlier/later) but if you cant see much of your baby 1st time he does ask you to come back 2 weeks later for a re scan. He also advises to drink a sugary coffee/can of coke 30 mins before the scan to get the lil one moving. I had mine at 25 weeks and it just looked like we could pick her out of the screen. Check out my profile pic.
