Hi everyone,
I am new to this site, hoping to make some friends who I can travel on this amazing journey with!
A little about my story......
I am 41 years old and have been with my husband since I was 17. After trying for many years for a baby and a couple of miscarriages we finally had our little boy in 2012 through ivf.
We are both quite shocked but over the moon that we are now expecting again (naturally)
I will be 9 weeks on Monday and I'm sure like many of you am very anxious! Since Tuesday I seem to have lost the constant nausea feeling which i know i should be pleased about but its making me worry all the more that things are going wrong again!

Hi congratulations! A family member is about to have her baby in a few days and she is 45 another friend had her at 41. Ypur be fine and as a 'older' mum they tend to see you regularly so im told. Good luck

Hi Blueclass,
Thanks for your reply, I will get seen a few more times and also I have to have consultant led care as I am classed as a geriatric and had complications in my last pregnancy.

Hi and welcome!

If you have a look on the First Trimester threads you'll find other mummies due the same month as you.

Congrats and you shouldn't be anxious, you should be excited and proud! :)

Many congrats. Im 42 and ttc number 3. Had a mmc very recently so hoping for rainbow baby very soon. Be nice to have a couple of older mums to chat to in addition to the lovely ladies on the forum x
