Its interesting to hear everyones views. I managed to have a vbac this time and did it without any continious monitoring which i had been told would be a must. I was only in hospital for 3 mins though before baby was born!

I am well aware that every birth is different but if I ever were to have another I'd want another vbac. I had a small graze and that was all, wished I would have been allowed home sooner, actually wished I'd have given birth at home. It does scare me though to think that if my scar ruptured whist at home then I would most probably be dead.

I had an emergency c-section on DS & so desperately wanted a VBAC this time around as it will be our last. However, due to mental health I realized, after months of soul searching, this was not the safest choice for me or my baby, so I've opted for a c-section. Only problem is the consultant that's taken over my care is refusing to play ball & is dragging her heels, so we wont know for definite until my appointment at 35 weeks x
