34 week check...

Wasnt my usual midwife, i suppose you get used to your usual one and so this appointment was a bit off...

Heartbeat was fine at 140 but i couldnt really hear it, all i could hear mostly was whooshing not that lovely galloping sound.

Baby is still head down but not engaged anymore shes hovering apparently.

I came out feeling a little disheartned but not sure why x

I have my 34 week app with the consultant at the hospital on monday (i'll be 34+4)
wondering what will happen other than the usual stuff, baby is still breech so not sure if he will talk about options.

I couldn't really hear my LO's heartbeat at my last check, it was more a whoosing like you say. I was also disheartened but midwife assured me everything was fine. Try not to worry, if there was anything to be concerned about mw would have sent you for another check xx

So glad its not just me that feels like that then, i felt quite guilty and when i saw ym mum after she knew summit was up with me. Myabe my 36 weeks check will be better x

i heard babies heartbeat fine, but still got sent hospital all they talk to you about is birthing opions give you a scan and monitor you for half hour. then they tell you how baby is doing and what they think is best usual they ask you go back 2-4 weeks after you saw them. its fine hunni. i just hate the fact they made me give them loads of blood twice in one day they were mean to me...my 2 year old called the MW a Meanie because she hurt mummy thought it was so cute x xx
