With 3 days to due date I'm at a total loss for girls names.
The list we have doesn't excite me one bit, the problem being I liked them all too soon and I've gone off them.
They are
Cora (was the favourite for a long time)
Erraid (Eh-rid, pretty Scottish name)
Libby
Ellie
Poppy (only a recent one-oh isn't keen)

And that's it :(

I originally wanted a traditional modern name but couldn't find any oh and I agreed on.
I'm not massively into over popular names ie. Amelia, Sophia etc etc

Please spam me with suggestions :)

I feel your pain hun, we've got a short list including Cora but that's the best we can do before the baby's born. We are team yellow but I'm just really hoping if it is a girl I look at her and just say she's a ......

Our short list is:

Cora Elizabeth,
Lillian Kate,
Amber May,
Matilda Rose

Out of interest do you have a boys name?

I know you feel you are having another girl, just wondering though as baby might surprise you and be a boy

We have no girls names - didn't at 41w when I was pregnant with James - so I can see it going the same way this time

The only good news is we have a good few weeks to register them.

A few names I cannot use due to various family members / friends are:
Alice
Martha
Leila
Katie
Lilly
Amber (my stupid cat has that name :wall2:)
Florence

Thank you ladies, always good to get more suggestions to ponder over.

Nat, yes we have our boys names sorted. Joseph, Joshua or Hamish :) with Perry as a middle name. They were easy :)

Oh did suggest Perrie for a girl actually but I'm not so sure as yet.

I wanted Avelyn for a girl but obviously that's out the window as we are having a boy lol
other girls name I liked was
Athena ( after my mum )
Ava
Mia
Willow
Brianna

I like Perrie for a girl.

Also Autumn is pretty.

What about Jasmine? Violet?

[just thinking of all the name I have suggested and OH has vetoed]

At the moment we're looking at Isabelle and Elizabeth (both quite common though so don't fit your bill)

Love your boys names hun.

I feel your conundrum! I even found myself looking at wedding dress names on the pronovias website as Im so desperate!

I love Cora!
Juliette
Julianna
Philippa
Shauna
Erica
Iris
Eva
Rose
Aria
Dalia
Delilah
(Last 3 - wedding dress names :/ )

Vampy, from your list I've used Mia as my dd middle name. :)

Nat, I do like Autumn actually. Bit different but not too out here? I've also suggested Amber but that got vetoed too.

Goat, I like Eva but becoming massively popular where I live.

The thing with my oh is he doesn't like anything but doesn't even have any suggestions as to names he likes! So he makes it massively difficult. Bah.

I absolutely adore Saraya (sah-ray-ah) which means princess. Something a bit different but not too out there.

We have one in our family so can't use the name but since she could talk she's nicknamed herself Raya which I also think is very cute.

Could you use slight variations of the names you like?

Instead of Cora, maybe Kara?
Erriad - Erin?
Libby - is beautiful, I can't think of a slightly different version, although my friends niece is Liberty and she gets Libby!
Ellie - Eleanor (shortened to Ellie?)
Poppy - Penny?

Claire's a lovely name Mrs woody, or so my mum tells me! Lol ,
A friend of mine had a daughter at the beginning of the year they called her Taiya,
Tilly , I really like Lilly , I like poppy from your list. What about lucy? I'm a bit of a weirdo I love girls names that end in Y , we are having Emily if we have a girl :)

We have a Lucie!
She could have been a Jessie or an Elle. I secretly liked Geovanna but oh said no way!

I always liked Iona but worried it looks like Lona (loner) lol

I like them ending y or ie. we have 2 already and would quite like this one too as well but may be a bit much!

Lots of good suggestions for me to bombard oh with this weekend :)

I just want at least one more that he is "keen" on :) thank you ladies x

I like Imogen but a friends baby is Imogen. I also like Erin.

I like bette-we have Bethany but call her Betty :)

My niece is an Aria, I really liked Cora but OH vetoed it and I went off it once I realised it was close to a friend's girl called Corrie. I know someone who went for Polly which is now a little more unusual than Poppy. Iris is nice too. I'm keen on colour names too like Scarlett, Ruby, Indigo, Violet (or Viola), Cerise (or Carys) but OH doesn't like them so they are all out! X
