Just need a little advice please mummies.

My lb had his 2nd round of jabs today at 11.45.....he's still sleeping in his car seat but he has missed his feed by half an hour and I don't know whether to wake him or not?

He is already 1 feed down today because he slept through his night feed last night for the first time as well which I'm not complaining about!!

Just worried he's not going to get enough milk today and also he's been in his car seat well over the recommended time?!

FTM so not sure what to do for the best....advice please?! 😃😃

Take him out of the seat?

Feel the top of the skull where the fontanelle is whether it's sunken in or not. If it starts to sink in that's usually a good sign of dehydration. There's also some other bits to check bu that's what I've found easiest with my little boy.

Best is to check with the midwives or health visitor's number to check for advice or ring the nhs helpline.

Lucie slept loads after her jabs, I wouldn't worry, try and wake him and see if he will feed, if not just offer when awake. I found she would either drain her bottle and need a not more or she would want another bottle after two or three hours to catch up.

I used to worry about this too but what I thought is if baby is sleeping longer then they probably need it. If they were hungry they would wake up to be fed. Some days it seemed like she had hardly any milk but they just take what they need. It's the same for us as some days we eat more than others. Try not to worry and enjoy the rest if they have a nice long sleep!
