2nd pregnancy after ceasrean

Hi does anyone know whether drs advise after ceaserean birth and you are planning another child do you automatically have to have another c section?
The reason i had a c section was my heart rate and babies heart rate was increasing and my cervix only opened to 7cm after 12 hours of being induced and waters breaking.

I have just had my second c section after my first one ending up in an emergency c section because I wasnt dilating after 30 hours of labour. I only ever got to 2cms after them trying to induce labour further.

They said I could have either birth. They said I could do a trial labour and see what happened or as I had one c section, I could have another. The midwife supported me when I said I wanted another c section but the consultants were trying to persuade me to give it a go and see what happened. I ending up going into labour 5 times with my second and they kept stopping it as she was to small and early. I had my c section semi electivly this time after going in again and I found it a lot more relaxing. They talked you through the whole thing and there wasnt a rush at all. Spent ages talking to all the staff and would recommend it, if that is what you want.
