Hi All

I have a beautiful baby boy who is 7 months now. Had him after trying for 4 years. It was a long battle. I got a surprise BFP in April 2017. My husband and I are very happy and excited about it as we thought we couldn't have any more babies.

I will eventually have 2 babies under 2. Just looking for advice on how to cope with it all lol

Anyone been there? X x

Just reading that... sounds like you have a very supportive and close relationship which has got to be the number one factor to cope?! Sorry no actual advice x

I don't have any kids yet (first pregnancy) but I have two nieces who were under 2 and i was also little sister in a 2 under 2 and though it will be a lot just think of how happy it will make you when you see how close your kids are with each other. It will be worth every late night and tantrum when you watch them grow up as best friends :)

My personal opinion is that it's best to have them as soon as possible. Even though it will be exhausting you have a wonderful support network and all the nasties like potty training and teething will pass simultaneously rather than having one over those hurdles only to start with another. If God wills it I would love to have my babies as soon as possible after each other (we're praying for a boy and a girl). Wishing you a wonderful, healthy and happy pregnancy :hugs:

Thanks so much everyone for all the kind words. I feel much more positive now. I am glad i am having them together as i am 35 so not getting any younger lol

KatD i wish you all the best and pray your dreams come true with a lot of happiness and ease :)

I will have 3 under 3, basically. My eldest will be 3 and 3 months but the HV said that they class that as 3 under 3. You manage, you eventually fall into a routine and they learn to share. It's easier when they're younger as they don't notice as much as they would do being older imo

Congratulations! It's more daunting having a baby and then wondering how you will cope. Once your second baby is here your LO will be a toddler and maybe walking etc and they kind of know how to entertain themselves with toys and ride on cars, play kitchens etc. When my LO was 18months I felt that I could have coped if I had had a second baby then x

Thanks all its all reassuring to know.

My due date is xmas day :y
