it has now been 8 weeks since my last period, i have taken 3 tests and all say negative.
I have 2 daughters already and have problem free pregnancy and labour's and my period is always regular as clockwork.
I am now open to the fact that somthing may be wrong and i have booked in with my GP for 4 days time.
Has anybody experienced this or simular?
:?

Hi Julie. Unfortunately I haven't experienced something similar so I can't help you with this. Are you experiencing any pregnancy symptoms? Have you tried testing with a different brand?
Good thing you're going to the docs, if they take a blood sample that should give you an answer about pregnancy.

Hope everything is fine and that you get the result you want

hi, when i expected my period 4 weeks ago i had tender breasts and thats just normal signs for me about to have a period but 4 weeks later and still nothing, on Monday just gone i was out working my job in the car and got hot flushs/ felt dizzy and sickly so i came home and rested on the sofa for the rest of the evening but im worried and i know my husband would be delighted if i were pregnant but i dont think this is the case, at 5 weeks late i bought a test from the chemist (cheapo) and at 6 weeks i bought tesco's own brand and at 7weeks late i bought a clear blue test...all negative

Well some people don't get a positive till after 7-8 weeks so it's possible that same thing is happening to you. Give it some time and test again (if you have any tests left) or better wait till you go to doc and hopefully you'll find out what's going on.

xx

yes i have. i missed 3 periods once and had test after test done at the docs.
Eventually i got my period. the doctor said it may have been a phantom pregnancy as i was very broody at the time and couldn't have a baby at the time.

Hi all, still no period and im heading for being 9weeks late on monday, lets just hope the doctor can help me out on tuesday.

my sisters period is 3 weeks late and she told the doctor and he said she has to wait 2 months before he will look into it!

hey Jenna, im not really sure what the doctor will do for me, maybe send me for a scan as when im booked to see him i will be 9 weeks late!

Hi, please don't think i'm being cheeky but are you using cheap tests? I was and they came up negative.

Also i know a couple people who have had 3-5 negative tests, and have actually been prgnant. I wish you all the luck in the world.

Hi Claire, i have used cheap chemist and tesco sticks but then i bought a normal clear blue stick..all 3 were negative

common reasons for periods stopping unexpectedly are poor diet, stress, and pregnancy.

Dont rule pregnancy out just yet, my sister was doing home tests and even the doctors were testing her urine and it all came back negative, she did a test at mine one day and it came back positive, when she had as can we found out the she was 11 weeks pregnant when she got her first +
