1st scan

Told by my doc on Friday.. i don't get my 1st Scan til 12 weeks... is that normal.. A girl at my work got one done at 8 weeks???

yes that seems to be the norm unless you have any bleeding for example

yes apparently now they like you to be around 12 weeks when you have your first scan. I had to wait over 6 weeks for mine

I had a scan at 6 weeks but that was because the doc thought it was an eptiopic pregnancy but you dont routinly get them till twelve weeks

Yeah, it seems the norm is to have only 2 scans on the NHS, usually at about 12 and 20 weeks.

I got a scan at 7 and 8 weeks but this was only because the EPU refered me down as I was suffering from bleeding.

Where I live we only get 1 scan throughout our pregnancy which is at 12 weeks. xxx
