1st Scan today!

Had my first scan today. And everything is perfectly fine. I could see the heartbeat and teh baby jumping around! God, I am so so so so so so so happy. And the due date is now set to 22nd October Sorry for posting a new topic but I am so excited and so happy that I needed to share it with you girls! Hope everyone is going great! xxx

I left the pictures at my doctors. I just felt like... I don't know what the hell was going on but I was like a complete idiot and forgot pretty much everything, good I could find a way out of the hospital, haha. But i will have to get them so I could show them to you! it looked like a proper human being already. Well, you know, kind of, hehe. Never been so excited in my life. And it's getting better

I can't belive nearly a week has gone already and I still can't stop looking at the scan pics

Aww, bless! You're right, it is a magical feeling. And such a relief to find out that everything is ok! It is amazing to see that there is actually a human being there already. I tried hard not to cry, haha, how embarrassing.
We're almost DD buddies, hehe

I thought I would cry to be honest but I was more laughing at DH who was totally amazed by it all that I didn't. It was obvious we were first time parents though because we kept on blurting out things like 'oh my god, it's got arms and fingers' and 'oh... look it's moving'!!

Even the sonographer was laughing at us!

It's nice having someone who's due within a few days of me because it means I can follow your pregnancy along too.

It is sooooo fantastic to read other people having their first scans and how excited everyone is. Congratulations! My wife has the first scan in just over two weeks. At the moment it feels like two years away, but you can bet I will be here with a post as soon as we get back!
