just received a letter for Maheen's next vaccination, it's about PNE!

what is this about? I thought next vaccination was when she would be 1 year old! is this an important vaccination? I am quite weary of vaccinations! My mum has contracted a nervous system illness which paralyses her due to certain vaccins she's had!

Can anyone offer advice, please?

Thanks

Yeah its the pneumoccocal one. xxx (meningitis)

oh alright! thanks girls! I've been living on a different planet lately, so I haven't even heard about it!

I have to make some research now, I am not sure I want Maheen to have it!

Thanks again,

Mel xx

My owen has just had it on tuesday and boy did it come up in a big massive lump! :(

He was unwell for 4 days with it bless him, kept having a temp and not sleeping unless I held him. :( :(

Getting alot better today though, but still not quite right, HV said it was normal symptoms after that jab ? ? ?

Gets a booster of it in 2 months which I'm not looking forward to if it's done this to him this time :shakehead:

poor little Owen!!!!

I hope he fully recovers soon...hopefully, next time, it will be better! I remember the 1st jabs Maheen got, she reacted the worst to that one, the two others went much better!

I don't know what's inside the jabs, but those with aluminium are to avoid, as they are the ones that are nowadays controversed!

I don't think I am gonna go for this one, anyway.

Charlie has had hers today. She was fine. I havent noticed any side effect at all, and personally id rather she had the vaccination and be protected from meningitis. She has never had any reaction to her jabs. It is another personal choice subject!

hiya!!!! :)

is this meningitus or pneumonia?

I know the saying "better safe than sorry", but as I said, in our family, we have quite a few reasons to be "against" vaccins!

Anyway, I can't go to the the surgery because I am working! I can't take a full day off for a 1min jabs! ( I don't drive and DH and I work 1 hour drive from home)

How was your honeymoon, hun?

Take care
Mel xx

Its against meningitis, pneumonia, ear infections bronchitis etc.
