Hi hun, you need a specific blood test (also called serum test) to detect pregnancy. This will detect your hCG ( human chorionic gonadotropin) which is the pregnancy hormone and the blood test can detect it at a much lower level than the urine test, so you can have it done from 8 or 10 days DPO :D
