This sounds like your mucous plug - is it pink in colour or clear? If it's pinkish then it def sounds like your mucous plug but obviously you need to check with your doc.

I think the hormones definately make us more sensitive to things but I can understand that your Mum phoning you in tears must be horrible at the best of times. I hope she is ok and you too. I know you mentioned on one of my threads yesterday that you're an only child and so, of course, you...
Thanks DaisyPurple and HannahsBaby - it's good to hear other peoples' opinions on this.
My parents did come over today but I didn't manage to get my Dad on his own unfortunately. My Mum actually didn't say anything negative today so I couldn't really say anything in the end! Anyway, they've...
Thanks Tracey M. I'm an only child I'm afraid so can't speak to a brother and sister about it. My parents are actually coming round to see me tomorrow (hope to goodness I don't go into labour when they're here visiting!) so I might see if I can get my Dad on his own for 5 mins and just ask him...
Well I'm 39 weeks pregnant now and am due this Friday. I've been pretty calm in the last few weeks and whilst Ive been on maternity leave and have been listening to my natal hypnotherapy CD pretty much everyday which has really helped. However, my Mum is freaking me out! She has become...
I really sympathise with you PrincessPeanut! My husband is the worst snorer I've ever come across. I used to wear ear plugs before I was pregnant that would normally enable me to sleep with him but since I havent been able to lie on my back due to this pregnancy I haven't been able to use my...
Yup - I think I've had this for weeks and weeks too! I've noticed it when I'm washing down there - I thought it was my imagination but now you've said the same thing I'm convinced that I've been swollen down there for ages! I think it's also having an impact on sex as well because sometimes it...
Yup I would also say it sounds like thrush especially as you've been on antibiotics. I'd get it checked out if I were you - it's treated very easily. x
I have total sympathy for you! I also would not want to have an induction but you still have a few days to go so you never know! My NCT teacher was saying that baby is more likely to come out when you are totally relaxed and have a loving environment in the home - it does something to the...
I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling extremely moody right now! I also desperately want to get the birth over with and have my body back! I can't believe how stiff I feel particularly in the mornings! And I'm averaging about 3- 4 hours' sleep a night so I feel absolutely knackered! Also...
Glad i'm not the only feeling like this! I also have days when I honestly can't be bothered to do anything apart from watch Come Dine With Me and Eastenders!! I feel so guilty because usually I'm running about doing things all the time but I feel so lethargic and unfocused at the moment! May...
Yup - thank God I'm also not the only one feeling like this! I'm so petrified that I'll be a bad mother and I want everything to be perfect but, of course, I know that nothing in this life is perfect so I guess the answer is that we do the best that we can do! I think the fact that we're all...
