Thanks! Had some more contractions. Nothing strong enough to make me go into hosp yet but thanks for messages and labour dust I hope things move soon. Will keep u posted. :) :)

No, not yet. they checked for that and all intact. its a bit scary but i just want things to move!!

I had show this morning at about 8. Went into hospital and they monitored me and gave me an internal and they have sent me home to sit it out. had a few mild contractions so far but just waiting really. Wanted to ask you ladies those who have had a show as a first sign of labour, how long after...

My friend had got one from the internet an was going to have it done but went into labour he following day so never needed it, so she has passed it onto me. I'm taking it with me when I go and see the midwife. I have looked on the net about this though, and if you google 'strep b test' UK sites...

Is anyone having / or had the strep B test? I didn't even know about this with my last 2 babies but that was a few years ago. Since a friend of mine mentioned it to me a few months back it has been on my mind and I asked my midwife last week and she said you buy the kit and she can do the test...

What a gorgeous little baby you have kirly kird :D If it's as hot as today I'm planning on just a little vest top and socks, and to just cover little one with a blanket in the car. I've had a baby in a hot summer before and he just wore vest tops and I kept his legs bare to keep him cool.

it says I'm 60% chance of having a boy. This is my third baby and I don't know the sex. I have 2 boys already... won't know for a few weeks if it is right or not.....! :wall:

Great! Did mine on Saturday. Only 30 weeks but just couldn't resist. Brings it closer to home really doesn't it. x

My first was 24 hours and my second was about 8 hours. I am hoping this one is no longer than 8 but not too quick either as I would like time to get an epidural again as I had this for both my sons' births and it was BLISS. good luck!
