:rotfl: I know what a nightmare! traditional norweigion names are all so ugly I think, well the ones that I have found anyway. Yes there are some ones that sound like english names but then what's the point of that, it'll just be another one of those kids who's name everyone spells wrong...
Humm, it's different depending on the area you live in but that sounds quite late to me. I guess if everything's alright with the scan then they think there's nothing for a midwife to do??? In liverpool your first app to see the midwife is between 8 and 14 weeks.
Happy prune day BB! Just a few more days and we'll have a prune as well.
The other day my OH saw the emergency scan we had done on Sunday and he couldn't believe how clear it was. He said "well you've been saying that it's a strawberry so I thought it'd look like a strawberry!" Ah bless :D
I'm in the yes camp, I just couldn't stand the tension of not knowing. I don't think it'll make a huge difference to the stuff that I buy but I just want to know.
Lol, i rushed to hospital at the weekend because I was in so much pain i couldn't stand straight. It felt like really bad period pains. But everything was fine and it's all going smoothley. If you haven't got any bleeding then everything should be fine :D
I love traditional names, Charlotte, Emily, Elizabeth, James, Johnathon.
My OH on the other hand is of Norweigion desent and wants to call it a norweigion name, but i can't find a single one that I like. I don't think we'll choose till it's born.
I've got my first midwife app this week and they do the booking in and a dating scan all at the same time. It says on the letter that it takes about 2 hours.
I have told my team in work - 8 people - partly because we are all good friends and there is no way i'd be able to hide this from them...
Hum, that would depend on me being a bit computer litterate
We got the scan printouts but I guess I'd have to scan them into the computer and we don't have to technology to do that. Oh well
My goodness how awful. That really puts my sickness into perspective. You poor thing, i can't imagine how horrible it all must be, I hope you are on the mend soon
I have to say that constant weeing is not one of the pregnancy symptoms I have so far suffered with but from what others have told me it is very common. As for what it actually feels like well I couldn't hazzard a guess but I'm thinking that as everything down there is starting to change then...
Well you guys have made me feel a whole lot better. It's difficult because on the one hand I'm thinking i don't want to do anything that might be detrimental and on the other hand 9 months is a long time to go without a dippy egg!
Well I think I might relax a bit and allow the odd egg in...
I didn't get sick until about 5 weeks gone, and then oh boy did i get sick :(
At that point until about a week ago (at 8 weeks) I was sick every day and really very ill. It has started to settle now and I am sick about once every other day. Some days I get home form work exhausted, some days...
