I was told by my HV it can cause hernias, but dont think its that common, just one of those things that can happen xx

I tried to breast feed max but he wasnt having any of it! he had some expressed milk and some formula, he has turned out just fine! do what makes you happy and dont let it stress you out, it wont do either of you any good xx

ok thank you, its mad, max was sleeping right through from about 3 months 12 hours no problems, then he got really sick and i couldnt leave him, he just needed mummy, now its really hard to leave him again, i always feel so guilty!

he has finally stopped, it has taken nearly an hour! thanks so much for the help, just wondered if there is a time limit on how long you should leave them, someone told me once half an hour, but surely thats too long?

Hi all I really hope someone can help me! My son is 15 months and i can not keep him in his bed to sleep all night, sometimes he wakes up after being in bed for just half and hour!! i try to leave him to cry, but he doesnt stop! how long should i leave him for before seeing to him again...

I had a show about 2 weeks before max was born. My waters went and then my contractions started straight away, but I was lucky as my whole labour from waters to birth was only 5 hours. I was 3 weeks and 2 days early and was told to come straight to hospital when my waters went, might be...

Yea, he has just started taking steps, which is really funny to watch and he is sooo proud of himself when he does well!! it makes me melt . But the scary thing is, although I remember all 5 hours of my labour, its hard to remember things from when he was say 3 - 4 months!!

I tired really hard to breast feed, i had to stay in hospital for nearly 3 days because max refused the breast and the MW kept making me try!! In the end I said enough is enough and gave max bottle. Like the others say, your baby will tell you what he/she wants, so try not to panic :D...

At six months she should have been ok, but maybe it was just a bit of a shock to her digestive system!! Dont worry, im sure your not a bad mother!! If you want to feel better I started giving max just one bottle of milk a day from the age of 9 months and gave him only food through the day...

You should give them a call to find out, as you should be entitled to some help! The nursery max is at cost £38.00 a day from 8.30-5.30!! or £18.00 from 1.30-5.30!! Im so glad I fell out with Max's child minder :evil: otherwise i wouldnt have put him in a nursery!! :roll:

I really didnt want to start weaning early, but with Max being sick ALL day with his milk i had no choice, i gave him a little something before his milk not instead of, just so he could keep something down, it worked most of the time and he did finally start to gain weight instead of losing it!
