I believe it's preference really - you have to do wants best for you & the baby! I couldn't get to grips with the lying down position (I did have mastitis & trust - I had the works) but sitting up kept me awake & alert!! Obviously the tv was quiet - but it helped me stay awake!!! I'm useless...

Oh yes, of course!!! With my first - every time he woke for a night feed - on we get tv! You need it to stay away - plus if you are bf - it can be painful & it gives you something to concentrate on!!!! 1. Good bf tip - make sure your WHOLE nipple is on their mouth - including the areole!!! ;) x

Hope all goes well at the mw larly!!! Fingers crossed you won't have to be induced.... It's not something I like to reccomend! I'm hoping the sweep works for me tomorrow as well! X

I have a BF chair in my room - just think I can get up & feed baby - without living the room - then once baby goes in to her own room - will put chair in there! Didn't have a proper chair with t 1st! Total mistake - make sure your chai is comfy & near a tv! Night feeds are LONG & tiring ):

Nope my baby is 3/5th I'm due on Thursday & still have horrendous acid reflux - to the point of being sick!!!!! The best advice I was given - was the bricks & keeping a healthy dose of gaviscon & rennie in your system...... :) Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - you might be different...

Rennie!! Also put bricks under your bed posts - your head end! I have 3 under each post - so your bed is on a slant!!! Works wonders for heart burn!!! :) Don't lay flat - its a killer! Plus too many pillows give you neck ache!! X

I don't post often - never get the time with a 16mth old & 38 weeks preg! But just lookin for some advice really - the last 2 weeks I've had horrendous sickness - most evenings I'm sick! I've had a burning sensation in my throat - so taking Gaviscon for that! But I have a horrible sickness...
