Thanks girlies. Urchin - i got in touch with a lady through Hypnobabes but couldn't afford the course so she recommended the Mongan Method book which i read thoroughly and she actually sent me CD's and helped me via email. Obviously it's not right for everyone and some - even hubby - were...

Joshua Reuben 30/11/07 - Very long - sorry!

Little Joshua made his entrance into the world a mere 4 days late at 7.36pm on Friday 30th November 2007 weighing 8lb exactly in the MLU at UHW Cardiff. My due date came and went uneventfully despite MW's telling me "It won't be long!" from about 38wks onwards. I'd been having a show and...

Tips on how to get things going.

According to acupressure if you feel 4 finger widths in from your ankle bone and press on the bit where the shin meets the fatty tissue you can induce labour. 10 second compressions 3 times. It should be quite painful. I'm giving it a go...

    Hallowe'en do not disturb poster!

Well i'm feeling very proud of my 'hood. The goodies have been out there 4 hours and the security light has come on at least 6 times and there is still no sign of the treats being taken for granted! I've even heard mummies telling their little ones to be quiet as the baby is sleeping - aw...

    Hallowe'en do not disturb poster!

Hi girls, I've just made my poster and stuck it on the front door with a bowl of treats on the doorstep so i don't get any nasty wakenings tonight (in the form of Jakey pops) hopefully!! If you want it pm me and i'll email it to you. Juz xxx

    Maternity Belts.

Hiya, Sorry you're feeling the need for one of these God awful things. I've just been fitted and although they feel like a corset they do work. If you see your physio at your doc's surgery you should be able to get one free. Otherwise i know you can get them from 'From here to Maternity'...

Best ointment for really bad nappy rash in 18m old?

Thanks so much Rhian, I always plaster sudocrem on anyways and also use it on Jacob's eczema but it just looked so sore earlier :( i thought it was worth seeing if there was anything stronger. At least Sudocrem is quite wet and spreads easily without dragging the skin so i think i'll use...
